A world ruled by diplomacy, not by war. Good idea. The US loses credibility? I think Europe and China have not much credibility either. :-) We are living in a world of wolves again. Everyone is as bad as the next nation. :-(

Turkey is going to be a major power, I can tell. Over 8% of the German population is Turkish, and Turkey the country will have a greater population than Germany by 2020. Add to this the Muslime population in the whole of Europe and you can see how the future will look like. The problem is that, unlike in the US, there is no true multiculturalism in Europe. So there will be huge problems, even the possiblity of war, as seen today in Africa and the Middle East. :-(

EU will never accept Turkey.
Turkey need to enter Eurasian Union with Russia. And continue to become more independent from anglosaxonic terrorists.
Russia will trade with Turkey in own currencies. This is a very good thing.
Turkey understands that only in strong partnership with Russia, it can rise on the international arena. Without american and british influence which only creates artificial problems for Turkey (attempt of regime change, support of Kurdistan,etc.)
