ok, first off i dont know why exactly the team was about to move, but it wasnt all about attendence. im from philly, not pitt, so i dont get to read about that shit like they would, so thats all ill say about that.

and one down year with crosby and malkin and your talking shit? wow, your dumb man. howd it work out last year? or the year before? fairly well id say. and detroit didnt hand us our asses, games 1 and 2 yes, but after that it was a close series. detroit won, yes, but remember...1997.

One down year? Malkin still performing at a high level and lets be honest, I can even admit he is a hell of a player. Crosby has the skills but hes a fuking cry baby. And they aren't were they are at because they pay them 2 so much god damn money they don't have any other players... THEY AREN"T A TEAM cuz, you had the #1 picks what 4 out of 5 years... and one more thing about your comment, the season where you sucked, its such an obvoius answer to why the games were being sold out.

1. the flyers werent supposed to suck, so season ticket sales were still high. as a matter of fact i know a bunch of fans who got rid of their season tix after that year... so shut the fuck up.

2. since the teams that were playing them were beating the piss out of them, their fans would go see the games. they actually outnumbered the flyers fans. it was funny

and your right sports do involve luck, hokcey especially, however, its really a shame to see a team lose such an important game based on luck. another example is the red wings game winning goal in the pens series. sucks that it happens, but it really hurts cause that made the difference. but you did beat mtl.. and anyone who thinks crosby is a pussy just doesnt know anything. the real question is why are you such a hater? lemme guess, jeff carter is better then crosby right? carter= fuckin pussy
