Nepal is a small land locked country hidden between Indian and China boarded by Tibet. Today, most people around the world know very little about our country like, the world's tallest mountain, Mount Everest, Chitwan National Park, Kathmandu, the capital city and so on. But almost nothing is known about hundreds of Mountain Villages that bestow ancient cultures that shine around the Himalayas. Brainwashed by the magazines, Television and comforted news media, there has hardly been any true stories told about the villagers who have been struggling for centuries while undergoing 104 years of Rana Dynasty, when citizens were restricted from getting any of their education in the country except the royal families, filthy corruption, the deadliest cheating on Poor. Under going every days' political chaos villagers' stories have always been lost and ignored. Therefore, as a Native villager of Ulleri Village, I have taken almost eighteen years of journey away from our village to finally overcome all obstacles in putting my documentary film about the life of a village in the Himalayas, which is to share with rest of the world.

  • you have a wonderful video. thank you for sharing it. i hope your people and you village lot will improve. from what you have shown it is easier said than done. on the other hand if real education will come to your people, a lot more of your villagers will still go abroad but they will have better jobs for themselves probably.
