Scott Ainslie plays at Robert Johnson's Grave

The Little Zion Missionary Baptist church has a Hymn of the Church: Amazing Grace. So, on the centennial of Robert Johnson's birth, May 8th 2011, Washington Post reporter David Mosser Brown shot this brief record of Scott Ainslie playing the Hymn of the Church over Johnson's grave. We had just attended a service together with Johnson's grandson, Steven Johnson guest preaching in the church. It seemed fitting to spin the tune for Johnson. He's had enough blues. The guitar is a little 1933 L-50 that came to me from a friend in Louisiana.
