3 mouse mats being put up against each other! Its a fight to the death!!!

SteelSeries QcK
Roccat Sota
Roccat Taito

The Roccat Sota is the newest mouse mat out of the three, and has the most unique features. Its part of the Roccat SDMS. Its great if you like fast surfaces - but if you want a slower, more controlled feeling - go for either the SteelSeries QcK, or any fabric mouse mat.

  • What do you recommend?

    * Razer Goliathus Fragged Speed Edition

    * Roccat Sota Granular Black

    * Roccat Taito

  • @Frackbe I recommend all of them. It just depends on what sort of mat you want to use. Weather its a fast plasic mat like the Sota, or a control cloth mat like the Taito :)

  • Hey man i need ur suggestion for buying a new control gaming mousepad, which one is the best u have tried and can reccommend? (i dont care for size of mousepad), i have razer deathadder mouse :)

    Tnx for ur answer man, btw i love ur review's. Keep up with good work!

  • Hey I am also using the Roccat Sota along with my MX518 and it's been around 2 months since I've bought it. At first it was great but I have also noticed a slight bubble in the mat along with what looks like the upper layer of the mouse mat becoming unattached to the rest. This has resulted in an annoying glide. The mat was also very smooth but after 2 or so months of constant use, half of my mat has seemed to have roughed up with the other half still extremely smooth.

    Not bad but quality lacks

  • I'm gonna buy an Abyssus. Some advice? I was thinking of default QcK, Speed Goliathus and Sphex (in this order). What's the best pad for this mouse...? ^_^ Thanks!

  • I had a roccat sota mat. sota has a thick rubber base, which has different thermal expansion factor than the upper plastic part. so it deforms because of the warm of your hand.

    this deformation little by little going to be so big, that the center of the pad will lift up.

    and when you move your mouse on it, there will be waves around, and it is very annoying. the next annoying thing is that you won't be able to lift up the mouse normally, because the mat will follow the mouse upward (cc.0.8 cm).

  • If you get a haircut, your hair will not be in your eyes.

  • Where is the RAZER mats???
