  • Thank you!

  • @HectorAwol

What is the oven temp? The video says 130 and then later 170

  • Woops! Being a fruit cake... 130 would be best. Bit too hard to edit it now that it is online but thanks for letting me know! Hec.

  • @HectorAwol Can i use whole wheat flour? That's all i have in the house.. and is it 130' celsius?

  • and 4. I use 1 kilogram of mixed dried fruit (1000grams). I would assume it would be about 4 - 4.5 metric cups of fruit. Please let me know how you go.

  • Apologies for the delay. 1. Yes it still tastes sweet because of the amount of sweet fruit inside!. 2. You can use any dry fruits ie dates, sultanas, currents, cherries etc and you can mix it up with a little chopped fresh orange etc. 3. Oil should be fine but advantage of baking paper is it insulates between the batter and the tin/glass.

  • a few questions:

    1. does it stil taste sweet even though theres no sugar??

    2. what other fruits can you use???

    3. does it have to be baking paper, or cn u just simply apply oil to the dish???

    4. how much fruits do you need?? in cups please??? or grams wud wor too thank youu

love the recipe btw, soo simple and easy to make, i might just try it tonightt =)

  • you're great son! thanks for responding.this is your new friend and fan from Phils. yes, soon i will be trying to make your tasty fruit cake!Godbless
