@uscdb07 I personally love his approach to vibrato. Vibrating "all the time" obscures intonation, even if you're right on. Some tones ought to be transmitted pure and clean to the ear first, so that their melodic implication is fully realized (all it takes is a split second) and then "blossomed" out. Purely a matter of taste.
Thanks for posting, you sound excellent. I wish you had posted the whole movement. My only critique is that you wait to vibrato on many notes. I hear non-vibrato then vibrato on the same note. Why not just vibrato all the time? Otherwise excellent playing. Again, thanks for posting
