when she enters the bedroom the coke glass is at a lower level until d'angelo puts the glass behind margret's back and it comes back at a higher level. another movie with more mistakes than my husband and i could count was thelma and louise. look at the movie ghost which we saw in the theater wondering how could swayze defy the laws of physics in one scene and not in the next. there were at least 20 we had a good chuckle on while everyone else watched that sentimental stupidity.

I'd never seen this version before . . . it's grittier, harsher, and more realistic than Kazan's version . . . wonderful!

Is it just me or is it always raining in this version? Also, Treat Williams looks semi attractive, yet uncomfortable in that shirt and tie at the beginning!
