3:53 possibly the most misleading image I've seen on NASA sources in a long time. 100 km would be like a pixel or two in that picture (if that's "Earth" in the lower right corner).

I suspect though this is the fault of the producer (and approver) of this clip, not necessarily NASA. Is the "French system" so frigging hard to grasp, really?

Moreover, I dont' know what the fuck is going on with the colors at 3:40 either (can't be altitude, look at Greenland)

This narrator could not sound more characterless. I seriously began to notice how sleepy I was becoming as this video progressed. The lack of ability to read a script by this bore of a woman makes a topic as interesting as this out to be quite a "yawn". Even if she is just presenting various parts of the earth, and names for things on the earth it seems lie she is really trying to her tone completely uninteresting. I don't think most people when just reading words of paper sound this dull.

So absolutely boring to just repeat the names scientists have given to the earth. "the outer shell is called this" "the core is called this", "we call these the 4 spheres".

Hey Teachers,

Teach something interesting about each part of the earth instead of just titles. Kids don't care, nobody cares. Teach something interesting about each topic, get them interested.

Entertain, then teach when interest is there.
