Watched all the videos of the progress and loved it -fab music too, nice to see the APT running - I have 2 that will get amalgamated like yours and the catenary system does you proud - so few people seem to try it -Looking forward to the next one.

Is the APT formed out of 2 sets?
I like the working lights on the 87 too!. Unusual livery its in. What happened to the pantos on the RES 86s / 91?
soundseeker63 1 year ago
Hi the APT is one set + spare power car. 87101 carries white window frames as painted for the Bounds Green open day in 87. The res 86's are just spare bodies that I have that are awaiting detailing whilst the 91 is awaiting a replacement pan as the original was damaged.

nice to see that APT at work. Looks good under the wires.
Also realy like the DBSO is cool
any 47/7s?
is the catenary kit or scratch built?
smleonard55 1 year ago
All the catenery is scratchbuilt from copper wire and old lengths of rail. I will be supplying the catenery shortly however via our westcoast miniatures website. No 47/7's as yet although with a railway as big as this there is plenty of space to run one!

what type of track did you use for your model railway?
Tuxedo748 2 years ago
Peco code 100 flexitrack as it's UV stable.
