Even Christmans has changed dates but Halloween has not. Halloween (Samhain)is a very solid holiday that should be respected. To add to it would be fine with Halloweekend and so I could still roll with this but lets put some thought in before stepping on everyones toes. so dont change the date add to it maybe with the weekend deal :]

People believe different things but the 31st to me is about remembering the dead. Its the spiritual new year for many people. And the dusk and dawn of Halloween and the next morninng are magical times to many. The thought that the spirits who died in the year come back to parade the streets and at dawn they parade to paradise. Different people might do different things but the date is the 31st. That can not compromise.
