I also love the warm unaffected way she sings this, without that fast vibrato that I find so irritating. She has a fantastic natural voice (& a great actress - that scene with Nic Cage in Moonstruck - !!!)

Sonny wrote this, along with The Beat Goes On. He was greatly underestimated. Cher never would have become a star without him.

i first heard this song on the lloyd thaxton show in Dec. 1964 while in the Navy in Norfolk Va. loved it then, love it now. thank you.

One evening this song was playing in my Fathers car, and my Mother came up to him and they kiss in a sweet way, that's one of the few good memories that I can remember, after that, I never saw them together again, neither with me :(
