This is a seriously funny and insightful clip. I honestly believe that people do not give Mos Def enough credit. This clip shows that while Mos Def might not be the best at articulating himself - when he has people like Cornell West to elaborate his points, it becomes obvious that he actually is more intelligent than people give him credit for.

@siyengar982 Sorry, none of these people are "idiots" in the true sense of the word. Mos Def is an intelligent individual and Dr. West is a brilliant man. Maher I dislike for his thoughtless, unexamined stance on Israel/Palestine.

(Btw Carlin is awesome) The problem is that at least Christianity has altogether moved on from the violence that it teaches other than isolated cases of the murder of abortion doctors. Islam controls its own countries where aldultery, apostacy, and criticism about Islam is met with stonings. Hell, Salman Rushdie has a price on his head and Theo Van Gough was nearly beheaded.

@TheKoRninja i loved "Religulous". It was great. But I think spreading that one religion is straight up evil is a dangerous move. I wish Maher would stick with comedy. George Carlin could talk about religion in the same shape and form...but Carlin was funnier about it and it didn't piss me off. @DiceCarlinKinison Obviously you haven't heard of his movie Religulous. He spends the whole movie criticising the three Abrahamic religions. He criticises Christianity more often than he does Islam. You should try learning about him before you make a comment like that. Hannity and O'Reilly won't admit that Christianity is also violent and undeserving of praise but Bill Maher is willing to admit it and does so on many occasions.
