@ProletarianCPGBML Let's avoid the history of communism. I am just saying that certain elements in this video turn people away. If it is about peace, then that should be the clear focus. If it is about the proletariat overthrowing the powers that be, then that should be the focus. It isn't optimism or pessimism. It is just a fact that many people don't like socialist ideas (some for good reasons) and they would be turned off by what's in the video even if they are for peace.

Britain will continue to be a terror state as long as it clings to the last vestiges of its empire. It needs to get the hell out of the War on Terror and get the hell out of Ireland!

Nice video. I am glad that there are still some people in this world with sanity.
Libya didn't have to be a problem. These rebels would not have started a civil war if it was not for the intervention of foreign states, who, ironically, could not even afford to go to war, but did anyway.
I think it reflects poorly on a society that cannot afford war, but SEEKS it out anyway. Libya had and has nothing to do with America, Britain, or NATO.
This would not have happened in Soviet times!
If they put aside their personal politics ("working class" communist flags) and just spoke for the cause of life in Libya, I bet more people would show up.

@exiquio THanks for your comment. It's an interesting idea, that if we stopped promoting opposition to capitalist imperialism, that everyone would fight more effectively. Perhaps if we never mentioned socialism, maybe workers would have long ago overthrown it spontaneously? History does not support this optimism. Re. flags; yes, communism has had a pretty poor press. So has gadaffi's regime. Two different questions, on which the press unfailingly fights for imperialist interests.
