  • The problem finally was the brew thermostat!!!The brew thermostat was not good and th heating element went down!

I am waiting the new heating element and the new thermostat to fix it.

I replace all the mechanical parts of the machine and i cleaned them.

And now the machine is very clean.

  • How much did you have to pay for this broken machine? I have a Rancilio Silvia and I love it. The light should definitely go out after the water reaches temperature.

  • yep, just reset the thermostat.

It's on the site of the boiler. It has a red button in the middle. Just press it.

The machine is probably it good order, except for the rust. It might need a thorough clean, but that's what you can expect when you buy a used espresso machine.

Most people don't know how to maintain in correctly, and sorry to say, but trixoptosi seems clueless too.

  • i.m sorry is really bad i advice you to clean it with a metal brush and the water cold becouse the boiler did not work and its exsepensive 150 dollars all the parts will cost you more than the original price for this machine

  • The time you spent on this video would have been better spent trying to find someone qualified to service or repair this machine, if the seller won't do that for you. The Rancilio is a robustly constructed machine, so you have a rather obvious problem: broken thermostat, power switch and/or boiler. Or you have purchased a broken machine, fraudulently represented to be in new condition?

  • Perhaps you have to reset the thermostat? There is a video here in youtube that shows how to do that.
