Orphanage in Uganda - God Cares School (Filmed and edited by Tyler Rumph)

This is the orphanage I worked with in 2007 and will be again in 2009.

Uganda has endured the scourge of civil war and the deadly AIDS epedemic. Approximately 1.7 million children have been orphaned by these calamities. Currently there are 880,000 Ugandan children living as orphans as a result of AIDS according to a UN AIDS statistic.

After seeing such a great need within Uganda, God put it on Bethuel and Florence 's hearts to reach out to His people; people with Aids (HIV), orphans, and children abandoned and poverty stricken.

Recognizing thousands of children lacked love, education, and simple basic needs, Bethuel and Florence started Buyamba Orphan Outreach which not only reaches orphans, but also assits children whose parents are too sick or too destitute to care for them.

We visited Ugandes Schools with many orphans who like to have FREE and Direct contact. With SKYPE they can get educational help and support from western schools in a unique way. If their school has no internet they can go to a cybercafe. Search YouTube for SkypeOrphanSchoolkids (or dot)org clips and ideas.
