lol nice one - that metal thing behind the mic is a reflextion filter by SE Electronics (google it).Its basically a stops any sound bouncing off the walls back into the mic which give the unwanted reverb, hollow sound people get when recording in their bedrooms. Basically gives you a mic booth in your bedroom. Its a bit expensive but I couldnt go back to recording in my room without it. The difference is amazing Nice one for the comment...Cisive
