I agree with you Matt. As an African American male atheist I see the hypocrisy. I don't think it is completely our fault because we were denied an education for so long and forced to believe in certain things, which is why I believe that we (blacks) are so far behind as a people to this day. I think that because blacks in America were forced into Christianity, we believe homosexuality is a sin, which is why I think the majority of blacks in this country are homophobic & voted for prop 8.
