  • how wet is your clay before you throw? because when i throw, it feels like i have to force the clay a lot whenever i bring it up and down to center...

  • @MetalCranium3 the cay stiffness is determined by what you want to make. the taller and thinner the stiffer the clay

  • Why use the metal rib to make the shape?

  • @SpifySavannah Cause I said so. No really its less drag than other ribs, it only flexes in one direction at a time, and and it can be curved to match the shape generated.

  • a demo of those large sodium silicate vases that you threw for the latest woodfiring would be nice to see, im curious to see your technique on making those

  • Are you looking to see it large or like the one I show on the video called stretched pattern pottery?

  • @timseepots Ok then :) Do you have a video that explains how to pull the walls up in better detail? That is my main problem on the wheel :(

  • 5:20 is epic. i'd like to see the slow mo replay ;)

  • Very well explained. Now the trick is to practice! Thanks you.

  • @timseepots So, would a rubber rib work just as well as a metal rib?
