Shmaine Sheppard delivers a sultry alto version of "There are Worse Things I Could Do" despite the shaky audio quality. Also to be enjoyed is Patrick Copeland's piano in the background. It adds an entire extra dimension to this old standard.

  • Agreed ! Not many actresses would sacrifice their vocal performance for the emotion of the scene, but she did. And I think it was admirable.

  • i know her!!! she is my director!!! of a theatre group called ysmt!!

  • this is the first of 7 times playing Rizzo...it got better over the years...this is a non paying gig for the role...the professional performances are not on youtube...sorry...

  • hi..how bout i was 18 when i played this role...stockard channing was in her 30's...thanks though....

  • the song didnt start where it should have . . .it is supposed to be dramatic, it started loud so she couldnt go anywhere with it.

  • very powerful voice.

  • I don't quite like this version of how it's sung.

Don't get me wrong, she's a good singer, but her voice would be more suited to something other.

This song isn't really to be sung so harshly and scattered.

    But well done.

  • sharmain shepard rules

  • Good job. Keep up the good work
