  • I went to Iwate's festival in August where they had several Oni Kembai groups performing. If you check the intro piece to this vid:

you'll see a brief clip of an oni kenmbai group

  • Did you go to the Michinoku Geinou Festival in Kitakami ?

I went to Neputa festival and Nebuta festival at that time .

In September , I will go to the Tono Hachiman festival . There , you can watch many traditional performing arts .

  • exelent, I love it!

  • Yes that was it. I saw several traditional performances. This past summer I went to 6 festivals in the Tohoku area - Sansa Odori, Kanto, Michinoku, Neputa, Nebuta, and Tachi Neputa. All were great but OniKenbai was perhaps my favorite.
