The selfish gene! It seems to have a lot of sense. This must be a god. It knows when to multiply. It just happened to have a SPO11 enzyme to cut it down the middle and help it in the replication business. It looks as if somehow this selfish gene happened to be in a female too, everything magically for the meiotic process. This stuff is real child's play! We just make FOOLS OF ourselves. I think The Self Preserving Gene would have been a better title because it describes the same biological process but without the negative connotations of the word selfish. Dawkins himself has said the title 'lent itself to misunderstanding.' In the way it shone light on the way natural selection works however the book was seminal; possibly many millions of lives have been saved as a result of the consequences it had in medicine.

Anyone who says Richard Dawkins is a fool, is a fool themselves. The guy is an Oxford Professor Biology and Evolutionary Biology. I'd like to see these fools get a Professorship from Oxford in ANY SUBJECT!!!!!
