I have a few bats that hang out outside my window:) I live in MN so it's great having them to eat the mosquitos:) No mosquito dares come within 100 yards of our house:) hehe for there part in helping us I have a bat box I put out in the winter collect them in it then I take the box and bring it inside. Put it in are utility room. Just so they have a nice warm place to sleep the winter away.

their actually kind of cute when they're no swarming ur head. just caught and released one of these things today. apparently there is a colony living in out attic, i dont even want to think about how many bats that is or what it will take to get rid of them...

I had one in my yesterday. I didn't have gloves to handle it and I didn't want to risk rabies or losing it in the attic. I had to kill it unfortunately. This was the second time I had one in my room.

haha, be glad he didn't find things he could climb up so he'd have some height to drop & catch flight. I live in a 200yr old house & have major bat problems every year when the babies are born.. they get lost in the siding & wind up inside, flying around like retards in an attempt to find a way out. what's bad is when they start running into small, hanging items, and/or get stuck in the current of fans etc sometimes messing up their flight causing them to run into other stuff- including people!
