As usual I have to point out that I built this straight from the box, as per instructions. Trumpeter sometimes gets things wrong, and if this model is wrong for any reasons, then I have to blame Trumpeter.. enough excuses!!

Building period: 2 days

Kit Rating: 10 / 10 (I want to build another one!!)

Decal Rating: 10 / 10 (Only 4 decals, 2 for each option. They went on easy enough!!)

Paint Rating: 10 / 10 (Only 1 colour all over, apart from the tracks! Couldn't be easier!)

  • Thank you for the reply . I guess I too need to start looking then !. There must be somebody ?? All the best and thanks for all you do for the hobby .

  • @TheSeasonman1 No problem.. I always look out for bases and such when I go to model shows, but there never seem to be any for sale.. :(

  • NIce build very good weathering . Could I ask where you get your display plinths please ?

  • @TheSeasonman1 Of'course you can,, just ask away!! :)

Hm.. seriously though, they have been made for me by the local modelshop in town, but he has been closed since a couple of months back... :( So when I run out, I have to revert to cheap photoframes, but I'm using that sort of thing already.. :0

  • The track fusing part reminded me of a friend from back in the day when I lived in russia, he would collect broken toys, and rebuild them this was one of his techniqes, Good hobby!!!

  • @mishok007 Indeed so.. Thanks.. :)

  • @icexiangwu Normally the quality and fitting of the parts.. :) A Tamiya kit tends to offer very few problems..

  • what's the difference between the more expensive brands (Tamiya, Revel, Italieri) and the cheaper brands (academy, dragon, hobbyboss, trumpeter)? I need to know. thanks in advance.

  • @6rellik6agem6 No airbrush, only a hairbrush.. :) :) Glad you're getting back into the hobby.. :) Thanks..

  • I have to say, I used to build models and your instruction movies has got me back into it.

Just a quick question, do you use and airbrush?

    Beautifull models.
