ANCHOR:
And the Dalai Lama returned to the Indian Capital New Delhi this weekend. Speaking to reporters, he welcomed China's recent decision to hold talks with his emissaries, but said the talks must be serious.

[Dalai Lama, Tibetan Spiritual Leader]:
"Of course, talks it depends what kind of talks. If (they are) serious talks, most welcome, just mere seeing face to face, not much meaning."

The Chinese regime had been under intense pressure from foreign governments to talk to the Dalai Lama, following a violent crackdown on Tibetan monks last month.

But despite the announced talks, China continued to attack the Dalai Lama in the media on Sunday, suggesting that Chinese leaders would not give ground in talks.

  • shiniShit,

The CCP CULT has inflicted more destruction and suffering that all of the worst cults in history combined. The CCP CULT has engulfed an entire nation with its doctrine, and its propaganda is instilled into the minds of people beginning with elementary school children. The total number of all people killed by cults cannot compare to the 50 million killed by the Evil CCP CULT

The (horrific tibet serfdom) is a myth used to justify China's own violations of human and political rights in Tibet, and to counter all international pressure on Beijing to review its repressive policies in occupied Tibet.

Even if it is true no country has the right to invade, occupy, annex and colonize another country just because its social structure does not please it

  • dalai lama wants his slaves back

  • Spiritual guru, don't lie now dorge168. He's seen by his superstitious followers as being a god/king. what would a god king be like as a leader of his people. would there be democracy or a theocracy like how it was back in the days. The being insincere here is the dalai lama who seeks defacto independence, or in his word ' meaningful autonomy'. Lying is a big sin in buddhism. A religious fanatic like you should be practicing more than preaching. I seriously doubt your sincerity liar

  • Why is the Tibet question so intractable that no leader in Beijing has managed to resolve it so far?

    1) Beijing is confronted with the Tibetan people whose sense of a united nationhood stretches back at least as far as the seventh century.

    2) This is a religious issue for them, even after 50 years the devotion to His Holiness The Dalai Lama is as strong as ever. He is not only their King but he is also their Spiritual Guru
