There is a secret spot only a few anglers that frequently fish with us will ever see. The water is cold, crystal clear, technical, but extremely productive. This truly is one of the most unique pieces of trout water you can find in Virginia. If you can handle waist deep sinkholes, overhanging bushes and limbs, grass that is over your head high.....you will love Spring Creek. We manage nearly 3/4 of a mile of this creek exclusively for our guiding clientele. The rainbows and browns can be extremely spooky, but will readily eat tricos, sulphurs, hex, or a big terrestrial pattern. You just can't have more fun if you hit this creek during peak terrestrial season. We landed nearly 20 trout in about an hour of fishing between 7-8AM on July 1st. The trico spinnerfall had just begun when the battery on the camera started to die. If you head out on a trip with us in the summer be sure to ask your guide to take you to Spring Creek for a few hours. You will appreciate some of the best quality dry fly fishing Virginia has to offer!
