"He's been taken away from his mother. By the time he actually sees his mother, he'll probably be 2-year-old. Will she even know who she is at that point in time? It's ridiculous." -- Angelique Hughes, baby's grandmother

  • There goes hypocrisy for you. a nation whose army sees fit to break up a family. aren't they supposed to be protecting a nation and it's families...It doesn't matter how the child was conceived. It does matter that he should be in the care of his mother-that is a sacred bond. The child should not be made a victim of a dictatorial military. For shame!!!

  • Child Protective Services are CRIMINALS who are trafficking in children. How DARE they harass a soldier in the US army ! CPS will use ANY excuse to kidnap children. There are more mothers in prison and children in foster care in the USA than anywhere in the world! The corrupt judges, social workers and psychologists (mostly homosexuals) are making a living off this and indoctrinating the foster kids with their evil agenda! Do the research!

  • Take that Feminism

  • It's time for a political revolution.

  • fuck the army.is it coincidental shes black? probably from a poor family?answer:no.they probably drove some speaker laden truck w 20" rims and army insignia all over it full of recruiters.all skilled in tricking underprivlaged poor kids in ghettos around the world.then, you send them to fight an unjust war and commit warcrime after warcrime, and call it patriotic.

  • my wife is going through some issues almost the same.people would feel better about fulfilling their duties if they werent for the purpose of nation building . people think its "patriotic" to blindly take orders from some politician whos never set foot on a battlefield half of which are warcrimes.our forefathers would be ashamed.

  • The army doesnt need women....

  • Is it a sad situation? YES. But you have an obligation to defend our constitution against all enemies, FOREIGN and domestic... having a baby doesnt excuse you from that.

  • When you join the Army, you complete a family care plan in case you are deployed. When you get pregnant as a single mother, you have the option to get out of service. If you don't take the option, its YOUR fault, you are NOT excused from your military duties! My mother and father (both retired Army and Marine Vets) were activated during Desert Storm within the same month. They both had to fufill their duties 4 months after I was born.

  • @RoRapp66 Well you can't just get out tomorrow. You gotta finish your time and then get out. For me I am never re enlisting again. I'm out and gonna have the best ETS Party ever. And also read this whole story. She did have a family care plan. It fell through and she notified her chain of command. They told her it was nothing they could do so what do you expect a mother to do. She joined the Army to take care of her child and this whole system turns on her just so she is a number for the war.

  • @iChristian91206 Not true. You know how grimey the Army is. I seen this story in the Army times and on the news. She had a family care plan and it fell through and she also went to her chain of command and told them what happened. They told her but her kid in child services. What else could she do?? I would never give my child up to child services. That's basically saying I am a unfit mother here you go!
