True love at its finest. A great journey of looking and finding. "True love waits", John Lloyd has aptly put it. A movie critic also said "Together, Cruz and Geronimo signify love at present - - or in present tense? - - changing, developing, faulting, building, their love that can never be done, just what true love is".

I think John lloyd's "type" was always sarah's looks and personality. He grew up a simple life, no? And she's a simple girl. He's always dated those opposite of what's he's really wanted (mayaman pero hindi simple, kagaya in sarah). What's also interesting is that I don't think he expected to "admire" her this much...just like in the movie. In real life, she's HIS very SPECIAL (as he says in his interviews about her) love. :)

i think you should add the picture from the Ashlloyd thread where Sarah's pic from the airport showed her hands in exactly the same way as John Lloyd's in his pic taken from the buzz interview( since the interview was taped i had the strange feeling they were both doing this at the exact same time in two different places)...when i saw this two pics at the thread i had a weird feeling that it happened at the same time...like true serendipity..and i'm not an Ashlloyd
