@babaGANOOSH87 I did like Norton as Bruce Banner and I am dissapointed he wont be in The Avengers, but I've just watched Shutter Island and he gave a good preformance in that, so my hopes for him in the role are re-kindled.

For people who aren't aware. I have heard that Edward Norton was really disagreeable and nit-picking on the set of the Incredible Hulk, so i think this is why they dropped him, he was too much trouble :( HOWEVER, i agree, he made the part his own, and maybe thats what they needed. But, my question is ... why Joss Whedon?!?! Jon Favreau would seem the ideal choice but nevermind :/ I'm just thinking back to when Buffy ... when it turned crap with TOO MANY PEOPLE! Now giving him the Avengers?! :S

@wdai03. Agreed. Ed Norton was the one who REALLY made Bruce Banner/Hulk as we see him today. Eric Bana's portrayal in 2003 was weak (due to too much back story and not enough action), but Norton surpassed him greatly in the rebooted 2008 movie.
