Inflammatory bowel disease includes two conditions, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Symptoms include abdominal pain, cramping, fatigue and diarrhea. There is no cure for IBD, but medication and surgery can help control it.

Crohn's has demolished my attendance at school, beated me to the point I couldn't walk. But I am not going to let it effect my future, I want to be a doctor once I've got all my qualifacations. So, I am looking for any advice. I know there is NSAIDS as well Steriods. My BMI is amazing; it's 12 stone and 5lbs and I am 15. But I want it to just go and leave me alone. It is like being a victim of a beating from Crohn's. I am going for Bloods, endoscopy, as well as a colonscopy.

  • I need help. I did have IBS, that was for sure, I had consipation as well as Abdominal Cramps and watery stools. However, as time went on, I felt a change. I just had severe cramps and watery stools, but no consipation. So i think it's went on to Crohn's. It's in the genes in the familly, anything from IBS to Bowel Cancer. In addition, the doctor is running me a whole load of tested, because it is getting on my nerves and I've got exams, so education is essential for me.
