Ken Wilson has been on the cutting edge of the evangelical movement for more than three decades and he's reached a point in his ministry when he wants to say he's fed up with people hijacking Christianity for their own political agendas. In particular, he's fed up with the Religious Right hijacking evangelical churches with issues that aren't at the core of the gospel. There's a first video in this 2-part set of video clips in which he introduces himself and says a word about his background.

  • This relaxed and natural approach has helped many I know come to the faith, or more specifically, back to the faith after having been harmed. Read his book "Mystically Wired" and love it. Have not read this one.

    And no, Prophetic, this is not New Age pseudo-teaching. This is more Gospel than you'd believe. You judge a teacher by their fruit. If they are peaceful, loving, kind and bring people to Christ and help them find the same... then does not the Spirit testify to their anointing?

  • I thought they meant the old blues announcer not this tool bag

  • The Bible doesn't work for people anymore, eh?

    Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

    1st Timothy 4:1-2 (KJV)

    For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

    Matthew 24:24 (KJV)
