Umm... It's not that easy dude, because without a Windows you can't even throw your old computer out the window, so it will just damages the wall and probably ricochet back because of it's smooth panel and will hurt you... :(

Mac users don't know how computers work so lying to them is easy. Sort of like how when a new console comes out the company says that it's like a high end PC when really the console users don't know that it's really low end.

Well...this is bullshit. I istalled win7 on my old (2003) HP laptop (512MB RAM) because it ran a lot smoother than vista for example. Dualboot with ubuntu hardy heron (because of the gnome desktop).

Now, if you look at macs however, they try make you buy a new machine every couple of years, because they produce the OP AND the MACHINE!

For the average user, yes, simplicity is the number one priority.

Since when can't you write code, make games or use any "real programs" on OS X?

The main reason I use OS X for my daily "computing" is because it has more and better software. (For students that is)

Besides, did it ever strike you that people might use their computer for OTHER purposes than just making it "better, faster, stronger"?

A lot of people simply want a more modern typewriter, they don't care about the specs.
