Extra footage from my road trip. Aside from being home to Virgin Galactic, and the location where Space Ship One made its maiden flight into space, Mohave Air and Space Port is also used as a facility to store aircraft. Some are offered for sale and sit waiting for a new life, while the back lot is filled with aircraft that will never fly again.

@chipshirek Its really fricken stupid the public isn't allowed in the area other than being stuck inside of a bus because being a aviation enthusiast like me I'd like to be up next to these aircraft and admiring the ingenuity of its designers.

it would be so good to get that plane from 0:56 and refurbish it.. but i know it will never happen reason 1: its probobly scrapped by now reason 2: i live in au reason 3: i dont have the money.

@Generation1Terrorist haha...my response was totally sarcastic. I wasn't sure what you meant. No worries at all man...glad you enjoyed. Yea seeing all the stuff was weird. One on hand one thinks how it came to be this way...what kind of stories they could tell....the other half of me was thinking how could I fit this cockpit into my house.

I've driven through that area, I didn't know we could go in, I'd take a piece of a plane and mount it on my wall!

@jcaldera805 -Public normally cant go in, one of the ramp dudes there has been giving tours for a while for larger groups....we just happened to be there when another guy showed up so he took us around in his van.
