You can't judge a religion by a few minutes of video taken at the end of parade. What if he'd never heard of Christianity, and someone showed him a few minutes footage of people rushing to buy Christmas presents and a glut of food for Christmas dinner. Would he then say, "This isn't a proper religion, it is too materialistic and lacks all spiritual sense!" We know this isn't a fair review and lacks all context of the holiday and culture. The same applies here.

Sounds like this chap needs a nice rigid structure to feel nice and comfortable. All religion and faith is subjective so why not let people have peace at what ever they want as long as it doesnt preach a downer or hate on anyone else

People don't need dogma. They need living breathing connections to the world and life around them not something else that happened to someone else a long time ago.

It's about Love and inner peace. When we attain inner peace we can then project this peace out to the world for the good of all. I've played Didgeridoo at this event for the last 2 yrs and these women are the most loving, beautiful, wise, truthful and deeply spiritual people I've met. Bless their beautiful hearts I say and may the Goddess always hold their hands.
After all..without a Goddess, how can there be a God.

How dare he imply that these women are not experiencing a sincere connection with the Goddess and that Paganism is not a way of life. Although, I agree that it's not a religion.. that's the whole point. Religions control people and create wars based on intolerance.

Oh my Goddess, the chap with the glasses should get off his high horses and come down to Mother Earth. He's patronizing and ignorant. I agree with you oceanpoem219. I really like the muslim woman's point of view.
