Winnipeg, MB (April 11, 2011) -- The Manitoba Métis Federation and Louis Riel Capital Corporation held the first Métis Business Day attracting both Métis business leaders and the corporate sector. The day-long trade show and workshop was aimed at bringing the two sides together to discuss best practices and build relationships.

Métis Business Day is a prime example of the Métis National Council's economic development strategy for the Métis Nation. MNC plans on hosting similar events during the next year across the homeland from Ontario to British Columbian in partnership with our Governing Members and the MNCs corporate partner Ledcor Group.
