  • I will be changing the oil, oil filter in a few weeks. I understand that I need to buy a synthetic oil. can someone recommend me which brand and wattage? What brand of spark plugs do I buy? I know i have to buy irridium sparks but not quite sure which brand. thanks

  • I was told brand does not really matter as long as you buy from a decent retail chain, so they don't supply cheap and nasty stuff. The top engine oil like mobile one is probably too thin for r33 as the engine is not in brand new cvondition. so you had better use thicker oil. I have replaced my spark plugs with 'titanium spark plugs' which is the one the best and will last for longer. I forgot what prand it was. I paid $25 each and I changed them all at once.

  • nice vid. next you should do the lsd and gearbox oil change tutorials too.

  • ok, mate. I will see what I can do. I have purchased a nismo 2 way LSD, waiting for it to arrive next week. My gearbox oil is due to change sometime in the next few months too.

  • brilliant - just what i needed. thanx.

  • you are welcome. you don't actully have to change the copper washer everytime you change oil. Feel free to look at other things on my R33. cheers

  • @xwroath0 you can use mobile 1 synthetic oil 15w-30w depending on your conditions

  • bush mechanics

  • @xwroath0 im using castrol gtx 25w in mine

  • why you didint use oil flush so the new fresh oil wont contaminated by the old oil...couz if you just flush the old oil 20% of the old engine oil stay on the engine and when you put a fresh oil on it will be contaminated by the old ones so 3 to 4 weeks engine oil will be dirty again

  • Please do/find me a video on an R32 GTR, the oil filter is in the worst spot ive ever seen from any car :(

  • Do you have anything on R32 GT-R's?

  • Thanks man.. How often do you change spark plugs & fuel injectors?

  • 14 metric i believe.

  • Great video.. What spanner size do you use to remove the nut?

  • Use Valvoline 5W40 Full Synthetic (the silvery looking botle) I use The Valvoline XLD for the oil flush lol...i think its a bit too thick to use on a 33.... :S Then again thats for aged models and i run a R34 so the engine is a bit more fresh.
