The subject being discussed here is the hypocrisy of the whole situation. I happen to believe that what Sanford did is a personal issue between him and his wife. Republicans need to do one of two things - Either shut their mouths about "family values" (Do you really think a man is not gonna cheat on his wife because vitter, ensign, craig and sanford tell them not to) or they can shoot their mouths of about moral values and actually live those beliefs.

I don't see how your argument is really relevant. I think it is better to hold high standards and break them than to hold no standards at all. If someone says they are against infedelity, and yet cheat on their spouse, it obviously doesn't make infedelity right. Even if one is a hypocrit to their own beliefs, it doesn't mean their beliefs aren't worthwhile and that they should not promote those beliefs anyway. Would you be angry with a smoker who says smoking is bad?

This lying basTURD denied his State and it's constituents of much needed Federal Stimulus dollars on the grounds of MORAL SUPERIORITY while he was out getting his penis polished. He needs to step down because he FAILED in his duties to EFFECTIVELY preform his duties as a governor of the State of South Carolina. He did that when he LEFT, to parts undisclosed for FIVE FUCKING DAYS.
That's why he should step down. That's why it is no longer a private issue. And he is a bad Governor. While he was out getting his knob polished he refused much needed financial to get his state and it's constituents the help his state and EVERY sate needs thanks to the BUSH/Cheney fuck ups!
