Snake attempts to slither into my tank top

Near Jaco in Costa Rica, I stopped off at a butterfly, frog, and snake farm to see some of the rare wildlife, including small frogs who can excrete poison through their sweat and kill humans and large animals, and constrictor and viper snakes. Other than spiders, I will touch nearly anything that moves because I love animals, so when the tour guide asked if I wanted to pick up this grey and pink colored snake (no teeth!), I jumped at the chance. Turns out the snake had other plans for me -- caught on film was the third attempt this snake made to get into my shirt!

Although it appears slimy, the snake actually just feels more cold than anything else, which makes sense - it isn't warm blooded, and the air temperature is about 85 degrees Fahrenheit outside. This snake had some weight to it for its size and was amazingly stiff. It also wasn't as sticky as the frogs I touched (another video). Thanks for asking! - Imei
