focus speed test of my new Sigma lens. I think that it is quite good speed. i do not have any problems with it. the built in motor is a bit noisy but not to much. for me - good and cheap lens ;)

  • @IrfanYusuf2000 dont buy it. i do not use it anymore. its not a good lens :(

  • i have just bought this lense the APO sigma 70-300 and i cant get it to auto focus on it, am i doing something wrong? i have it mounted on the nikon D5000;

    thanks

  • @andyrands There is a switch on the lens, which control focus. Change it form Manual to Automatic and it will work. If its not there must be some problem with the connectors of your lens.

  • what does all come in the box of the lens?

  • @jellevdsteeg Lens, protection case, lens shade, warranty and manual :)

  • I think I will be as well buy an ear plugged every time I will be using this.

  • @IrfanYusuf2000 As an alternative I suggest a cheap NIKKOR 70-300 4,5 - 5,6 G (not the VR).Cheap but not a junk at all: decent value for money,pretty fast focusing,lightweighted and you should easily get a good buy on the 2nd hand market.I'm happy with it (take a look at Ken Rockwell's review).

  • @sasquie2

    The Sony version don't have a motor, but is driven from the body itself.

  • I have this lens also, but for Sony. I must say that AF is much slower, but i think it's caused by slow Sony AF.

  • Sir, does this lens fit canon 600d/eos t3i?

    whats the major difference between a macro telephoto and normal telelphoto zoom lens sir?

  • this lens is a shit!!!!!

  • @rbhardw2 You should learn how to spell ur communist
