  • This is funny because 3/4 of the founding fathers supported Christianity in school. Before 1963 text books contained Biblical passages! And after 1963 Teen Pregnancy, STD's, Violent Crimes, and Divorce skyrocketed. The founding fathers (including Jefferson) stated on several occasions that America is a Christian Nation. The ideals instituted by the Constitution were also derived from the bible. P.S. Leviticus is the Old Testament and Christians follow the New Testament.

  • @IrishRepublican2011 Blah blah blah "I believe in magic" ....that is all we hear you understand.

  • I'm glad I'm not as rabid about theists as you. But I can understand why you are. Not only do they believe the bible but only according to the interpretations they prefer, but they also believe lots of mistakes and outright lies from pastors, televangelists, theologians, apologists, creation "scientists", christian authors, etc. And all this believing is because they want it to be true. Most of them don't know as much about the bible as atheists (an established fact).

  • @dymchurch1 You say rabid I say passionate radical militant, rabidness...

  • that speech was no different from President Kennedy speech on him and Catholicism and the Pope and church and state. oh he did not going at the level Obama did as those times were more reserved but it hit all the same points.your putting pacifism along with the Church and State. seems your more concerned with the concept of how you view the concept of nation and going on a tirade about the truth, you forgot your pledge of allegiance "one nation under god" im a pagan lol how about gods:D

  • @kahetel13 "I'm a pagan how about gods" So, you're a pan delusional? BTW..."under god" wasn't in the pledge until 1957 ......watch this video. Porky Pig's pledge of allegiance

  • @JstNEarthling wow what is up with the disrespect. I don't go around calling you an idiot for being Atheist do I? And your an older gentleman its a shame that you have to turn to mindless insults to get your point across.

  • He's a politician, in America! If he is to survive as a politician in this god besotted country he has to "pick a delusion" for public consumption. The absolute beauty of his statement is that he calls his christian choice a delusion. Fact of Political Life: That is the best we atheists can hope for in a President at this time - a closeted rationalist as our leader. The guy is just appeasing America's drooling bible thumping class while he works to protects SOCAS. What's the alternative?

  • @JstNEarthling

you're pissed?..what, u had high expectations of american politics?..this time it was supposed to be different?

  • @kahetel13 Sorry, didn't mean you yesterday.... about the pledge... again sorry 'bout the rudeness but I'm always rude with theists... and now I'm old so my damn fingers are getting sore so I'll miss.....lol..

  • @kahetel13 And you, stupid "under god" was not even in the pledge until a federal judge allowed it in 1959 stupid. Watch this please for your own edification.
