My latest composition. Full orchestra this time!

Some complementary background info:

The basic idea was to create something that could work as the score to an animated movie (Disney style?). More concretely, I had the story of Cinderella in mind (not the Disney film in particular). The piece is supposed to be the score for the opening part of the movie and consists of three sequences.

In the first sequence, the spectator would see a aerial panorama view of a beautiful castle and a small village just beneath it. The camera then goes into street-level, showing the everyday life of the commoners (second sequence). In the last sequence, the camera ends up in Cinderella's house. Her theme is introduced and she is seen doing her work, dreaming of a better life...

Well, that's the fictitious movie opening I had in mind when I was writing this piece :)
Hope you like it!

  • Thank you for all the comments everybody. I really didn't have much time to do music in the past months, but I'm still here. Hoping to find some time to create new material soon!

  • Really good, you've got the sound to a T .... really does remind me off Disney theme tracks or some cheesy cartoon like that .... And all the parts to the composition reflect the scenes you try to imitate.
