  • @1k9e8n1 At first Volvo did bring proper Volvos to the US with their OWN engines and gearboxes.

But the Dumbass truckers in USA couldn't shift gears the right way and after a few weeks they had destroyed the gearboxes.

That's why you dont get PROPER Volvo trucks in USA and are stuck with american stoneage technology.

  • @ulen379: The emission regulations are a bit different between US and Europe, and the US are stricter on particles than Europe while Europe are stricter on NOx.

  • Interesting to see the comments of the old interior.

  • @McLarenMercedes in us you never see cab over trucks like in europ the american trucks will never pass euro polution standards

  • @McLarenMercedes cuz they are too big for europe

  • @ulen379

Oh yeah? Then why aren't they imported and sold in their thousands here if they are so efficient?

  • @tramvaj12 Over here, the rule is simple.as long as it moves it OK.Thats what the operator makes drivers like us to haul since for them its all about money thats come in.But its preety impressive how the 520 keeps up and some time the total weight could even reach 90 tons above.Recently the trailer chasis and axle broke and now they gave me a scania 420 but pull less weight.

  • @nesh2003 You drive 70 tons on truck ? How the hell is he going at all.

  • peterbilt 379 is king of the road
