Creative said that update will be available in January, but then they delayed the update...So you cannot update Ziio to Android 2.2 for the moment, so there is no Adobe Flash support yet = no youtube or other flash video.

I'm thinking of buying one now. Do you recommend this, is it worth it?

Do you still have the white noise problem and can i download apps from any other sites or is the pre-installed zii store the only way?

Hi,

Truly say, now I can only suggest the purchase of ZiiO, only if you are looking for resistive screen device. Otherwise, for example Archos 70 will be better deal for you.

"Zii store" is absolutely useless.

The problems with Creative Ziio :

Bad support.

No Google market or other good application database.

Update to Android 2.2 Froyo is delayed, and Creative "...don't know when it will be released..."

Almost no forums or users community.

No root.

I really only need the device for books movies and music, plus im not sure if i can find any other cheap tablet pc's here, i just found the archos 70 for about 500$! and im not ready to pay taht much just to read books, are there any other cheaper devices you can recommend?
