This router will get around 140 mbps with security turned off. Turn security on however and forget it, it only reaches 25 to 30 mbps. Also if you connect a USB drive you will only get 18 to 25 mbps, connecting the same drive directly to my computer and I get 250 mbps. The processing power of the unit is not good enough to deliver anywhere near a decent performance with security on and the supplied storage manager software is very very slow. I am returning mine.

i have this and it works great. i have my laptop, 2 desktop pc and a xbox 360 hooked up at same time and works perfect. Brilliant router for xbox live. NO lag. Strongly recomend. Great unboxing.

I have this router, I get awesome speed on PS3 no lagging period. Have not had connection drops at all. It does disconnect but it's my PC because it was doing it before I got this router. My PC keep changing it,s IP address, I hate that $h!t.

i have the Belkin N wireless Modem Router and it works greats, i can have the the ps3 playing online, my pc, macbook, and 2 phones and a n ipod touch all hooked up to it at the same time and it work perfectly. i strongly recommend this.

i have this and use it with xbox live. it lags soo much. dont get this for xbox live use.

Sure it might be better though if you call Belkin support. They can walk you step by step to set up your router.

My internet company did not include a router. I had to go out and purchase one myself. Is that what you mean?
