God and the Gnostic Individual (2 of 3)

This is Part 2 of a 3-part series, it was a long discussion.

So this time we decided to discuss a little bit of Gnosticism, as I discovered the Gospel of Thomas today and it is entirely kickass.

I especially recommend looking into the Naassenes, a Gnostic sect from around 100 A.D. I swear I'm becoming a Naassene.

Hey there, just wanted to give you guys a heads up on my opinion, I don't understand how the Hebrew God saying you should honor your mother and father means God is evil.

The Bible IS the way to Spiritual Truth. I believe just ABOUT exactly what you do, but I am Christian and I have read nearly the whole Bible 12-13 years ago.

I guarantee you if you go back through the Bible with the mentality that God is the Ultimate 1 true God, and he is also a Spirit inside of you, and everything Scientific also attests to this, take 10 years (maybe quicker for you guys) and mull it over, or experience it 1st hand, heal people, heal cancer, make tumors shrink,

get visions from the Creator of someone who needs your help, drive there, show up, and give them what they need (exactly what the Spirit of the Lord inside the heart of you told you to prep) you will come to the conclusion that it is all true, and it all complements each other beautifully, and specifically. At that point you will probably have a craving to read the Bible again, and it all comes alive in a way you've never known understanding could.

And life is positive. Guilt is gone, you make choices naturally and even with difficulty, but you naturally improve, your life improves, your influence grows, you prosper. And then another level of blessing is reached because you have been affirmed everything in the Bible is true, and you are a living example of that. Now at this point God will use you to reach others and show them the Truth, and the Word lives on, yet what you receive by giving that truth to others, is greater.

Christ gave us the Paraclete so he could dwell in us and us in him. Catholics think the Eucharist is the blood of Jesus and body of Jesus when it is the blood and body of Christ. They do not understand the metaphysics of the spiritual Aeon.

Father, Logos, Sophia. God is a universal term. The Church stole all the Gnostic Trinitarian definitions and made emanations into some stupid polytheism.
