  • you arnt suposed to sign it word for word, or say the words as you are signing.

  • First of all, I do that for someone who are having difficult time understanding sign language. Many of my ASL Professor at the college of NTID said some sign are necessary...

  • @MrBoffom Uh, sir, I don't know if you've ever seen an interpreter at work, but they say what they sign basically in a matter of "lip syncing," that being said, anybody is allowed/able to speak as they sign. As for the words, some people sign in EXACT english. Others, ASL, it takes a lot of practice, I've been around sign language for MANY years, i'm 17 now, i've been around it since i was 2. Even I still have a hard time getting the order & gloss down.

  • @CharlieTurk90 Yeah! It is up to how people want to sign for their own videos. In fact, there are several ASL signers do not make sense. Keep it up, Charlie!

  • @CharlieTurk90 I think its fine that you did that, it helps for people to learn sign language too. I can catch bits and pieces but this helps me to learn new signs. & youre cute, haha.

  • @Ray77063 i wrote "arnt" as in, its not english signing. and my sister cant lipread and she is deaf.

  • @MrBoffom No, ASL isn't signed in English order, so I call most signed music PSE. With PSE I don't have to find the lyrics to catch a word I missed (hard-of-hearing). Yes, you can mouth while signing. Some oral deaf depend on lipreading while signs support the lipreading. I recently had to stop mouthing, cuz my family were not learning to read my signs, only my lips. My deaf ASL teacher is oral. She says she has a difficult time following signs with no lipreading.

  • Hey good job man

  • thats so sweet that you would do that to help out people ive been watching to freashen up on my sign... i didnt realize how rusty i was haha you should do more your good at it.... just stop bobbing you head ( jus teasing) =]

  • thanks for makin' those videos. it's really helpful and fun. :)

  • haha.. cuz teachers are never wrong. anyway, its nice that you did it for your friend.
