This was a normal $400 TT-01D RC car. But i have transformed it to a mean machine which cost me over $1000. Most plastic parts has been replaced by aluminum parts. Normal Brushed Sports tuned motor has been changed to a powerful 8.5T Novak Brushless system. Normal plastic chassis has been replaced by Graphite Conversion Kit (Carbon Fiber Chassis). See it to believe it.
And i just completed the Monster Energy Project. I love Ken Block's 1:1 scale Rally car. So i decided to make a replica of my own 1:10 RC car.
For the list of hopups i used, check this site: http://www.rctech.net/forum/singapore-r-c-racers/290190-chassis-photos-possib...

  • if you bought this car from a website, which one did you buy it from and where did you get the body. i really want to get a drift car and impreza's are my fav car. please tell me

  • @InToxIIc4t3D I got it from my local hobby shop. You can get this car at rcmart or towerhobbies. There are plenty more other sites. Just google them.

  • You replaced plastic parts with heavier aluminium ones? WHY?

  • @danielalien For me drifting is all about angle. Not speed. Yes for speed you need to make your car lighter. But for drifting, i guess its ok to make it heavier. It made me easier to control the car.

  • hey, nice car! curious what are you pushin in this thing? what brand engine is that and esc? i know 8.5t but brand? you have light buckets on the shell, you make em or they come with the body...? nice build dude keep it up.

  • @kdawgsk8101 Its Novak brand. And yes the light buckets came with the body.

  • @Laxbro696 Try this hobby. $1000 will be nothing. You will tend to spend more than that.

  • @Laxbro696 @Brazapaintballer..... if you are seriously going to blame RC people, GET outta here because nobody cares what you say. I bet you know who Ken Block is?? I guess you don't even have the gutters to spend 1000 on your hobby, these cars can go over 60 mph when pimped, and i bet that is fairly faster then your two short legs, dude

  • Is it all-wheel drive...

  • Whats the manufacturer of the body? How did you place the lights? How did u fasten them? What light kit? And the wheels. Where from? And the decals u got from MonsterEnergy(.)com?

  • this HAS to be the sweetest TT-01D chassis i've ever seen.

  • The exhaust must be at the other side (left) like an original scooby!

  • @danielalien aluminum does not flex as much as plastic does, which gives improved control and performance

  • Make a video, not a slideshow

  • nice.

  • great job, pal!

  • It's a very cool car!!!

  • how much did you pay? $400 US?
