  • I am wondering who is singing cuz it sounds familar. But i forgot who it was.

  • It is Rev. Darrellson Jonah Begay from Pinedale, N.M.

  • Funereal services were held @ Prewitt New Mexico. Grandma Emma was still able to sing and praise God at a very old age. She leaves and awesome legacy. Through her there are mighty woman of God. Daughter Angela Begay - Evangleist, Granddaughter Carlene Lee - Pastor of House of God Church in Prewitt, New Mexico, Great granddaughter Carla J.Dubois - Psalmist, Great granddaughter Corrina Jack and Great grandson Chris Jack - Musicians

  • @walksat2 I know right. Its stupid that people want to remember a family remember like that. I think that they should've took the time when the person was alive. Its sad to hear that, Its even harder to help others understand why you'd prefer them not taking pictures.

  • I remember this guy sang at my boyfriends aunt funeral. He really help lift the heads up the people there. It really helped at that time. May God Bless him for the work he does!

  • The best version is at cherita18!!!!

  • Haha I LOVE this video cuz its the blues-gospel! totally killed it! My aunt was in the kitchen cookn when I first played this, and she came runnin out and said, Is that Brother Darrelson!? she was happy to hear him again. I was happy to hear him at all! I dint even know who he was. old skool . . . the best!

  • ooo, love the song!

  • Wow, that's really a blessing. She lived from 1887 - 2007; 120 years?!! To God be the glory. I stumbled accross this video, because I had this song on my heart for the last few days. Many churches have stopped singing hymns, so I go on Youtube a lot to see if someone has recorded them. I like the "live" flavor, as if I were in the actual service myself. This video was the only one that came up witht his song title, so thanks for posting! :-)

    Be Blessed!

  • Hey I was here, I was like in the front row. I belive that it was kind of snowing that day...

  • My aunt passed not to long ago and we had a funeral service like this for her. It was nice but one thing that really bothered me was. People recording and taking pictures of my aunt in her casket. Why I dont know but for the record its down right creepy and not all Navajos do weird things like this. Mostly its the church people and those doing things like this should show respect for the morning family.

  • Thanks for letting me know God Bless
