The keg I use for this video is a ball lock keg

  • Oh and having an extra O-ring and gasket set around just in case you find a torn O-ring during your inspection. Most brew supply stores will have them and they're pretty cheap. (An aside note; sometimes depending on the manufacturer of the keg, both posts will be hexagonal and the only ways to tell them apart are the groove cut in the gas side post and that the liquid side coupler will not seal on the gas side post and vise versa)

  • Great video, I think the only things I would add would be the use of keg lube on the O-rings to ensure a leak free seal and to perform a soapy water test to insure there are no leaks under pressure. (Star San works well for that because of its foaming nature). Also I would have enough sanitizing solution in the keg sealed that I could slosh it around and turn it upside down to be sure all surfaces are sanitized as well as run some through the tubes and faucet under pressure. Cheers !
