Pork fillet with honey sauce.
A classic. Great taste and not much work.
Ingredients 600 grams pork fillet.
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
50 grams butter
1 cup beef stock
1 tablespoon honey
4 fresh thyme sprigs thyme
1 cup cream (optional)
Preparation:
Fry the onions in the butter untill they are brown.
Rub the meat with the mustard.
Brown the meat on both sides.
Add the broth.
Let the meat over medium heat for 30 minutes until done. Turn and baste the meat regularly. Stir the honey and the thyme leaves from the gravy.
Take the meat out the pan and let it rest for 10 minutes under aluminum foil.
Stir the cream into the gravy and make it to taste with salt and pepper.
